Lesson Learnt
Timmy an eleven year old loved reading stories .He always lived in a fantasy world. He used to dream that the fairies come and help him in examinations and never used to study and every time he used to fail in the examination. Every time he used to escape with some excuse or the other .
One day the English teacher was teaching and asked everyone to take a surprise test .As mentioned earlier Timmy never prepared himself for the test. Initially he did not know what to do, suddenly an idea struck him .He started crying bitterly holding his stomach and began wriggling with pain. The worried  teacher rushed to the Principals’ office to report the same and the school authorities immediately phoned Timmy’s father, the anxious father rushed to the school .Timmy never expected his father would be summoned for this petty issue,he thought he would be exempted from the test. But  ,Alas ! now he can’t do anything other than following his father to the hospital for an injection which he was damn scared of. His father started driving him to the hospital while observing the panic stricken Timmy. His father understood but he wanted Timmy to realize his ,made mistake, hence he drove to the hospital, made Timmy wait while he paid the consultation charges at the front office.Timmy was helpless ,was in a fix: whether to accept his mistake and apologize his father and go back to school or accept this injection yet to be taken for the pretended pain !?
While Timmy was lost in his own world of thoughts, neatly dressed Nurse appeared before him with a wheel chair and said” Let’s go the operation Theatre, probably It must be your Appendix that go effected .Timmy with all tears filled in his eyes looked at his father for a rescue, but in vain. Finally, he has decided that only he can save himself from this misery of being in the hospital. He pushed the nurse, ran towards his father with a guilty face and admitted his fault.
“Papa…I am sorry…I am hale and healthy, I don’t have any stomach pain, since I did not learn for the test I pretended as if I have a severe pain. And papa You know what has happened after that. I sincerely promise  that I take care of my studies. Please forgive me” Having heard Timmy’s words his father smilingly said that “ Timmy I know that your pain is just a false pain and wanted to escape the test but I too wanted you to realize your mistake ,so I acted as I was worried. Be careful child, every time I may not be available to analyze the situation .Hence forth promise me that you won’t tell lies.
Timmy nodded in agreement to his father’s advice feeling ashamed for being caught in a wrong way !!

The Treasure Once the king of a village was riding on his horse early in the morning on the streets of his kingdom to understand the smooth functioning of his kingdom.
